DB Equestrian Riders

Riding for nearly nine years, Ophelia recently purchased her heart horse, Thor. She’s found her passion in the jumper ring and loves spending quiet time at the barn simply bonding with her horse.

Riding for five years, Molly says being an equestrian taught her more than how to ride — it taught her patience, resilience, and determination. When she wasn’t in lessons, she was volunteering, and horses quickly became a part of her life she can’t imagine living without. For Molly, horses truly are therapy.

Audrey has been riding since she was four and is gearing up to show on the silver circuit this season — with the possibility of gold shows depending on how the year unfolds. She owns her pony, Duke (who might be a horse now!), and also shows her mom’s horse, Hugo, from time to time. This fall marks her third year of owning Duke, and their partnership continues to grow stronger every season.

Ayla’s love for riding begins with the horse, not the sport. She rides two partners: her cheeky grey Welsh pony, Alvesta Sedona, and her bay gelding, Rigs, who is currently in training. A showjumper with a touch of dressage, Ayla will be competing at major western Canadian shows this year, including Amberlea Meadows and Thunderbird.

Anika's passion for horses started at a very young age when her Dad and her would watch the tv show “Heartland” every Sunday night, however she started riding at 10 years old. After a little while she had to take a long break and started riding again in 2024. She worked at a barn and helped with some summer camps for a period of time. Anika loves horses so much because whenever she's riding "they make me feel so much freedom, focus and partnership all at once". She has always loved building relationships with animals and being able to work with them in any way, it teaches her patience and leadership.
